All the oils used in this formulation are known to be low comedogenic (that is to say they do not cause acne). The argan oil in particular is moisturizing as well as being anti oxidant, anti inflammatory and anti aging. The charcoal which gives the black color removes impurities and dead cells and absorbs toxins. Both essential oils included (tea tree and lime) are antiseptic and antimicrobial as well.
