The 44th Annual Morganton Festival
The Morganton Festival is a must-visit fall tradition, taking over downtown Morganton, NC on Friday, September 11 (12:00–11:00pm) and Saturday, September 12 (9:00am–10:00pm), the weekend after Labor Day. Enjoy free live music on two stages, high-energy performances from dancers, acrobats, and theater artists, plus nonstop fun in the Kid Zone. Stroll more than a mile of arts and crafts vendors, indulge in festival food, and enjoy rides and games for all ages.
Simply Soap / Dr. Soaper will be there—stop by my booth to experience handcrafted, zero-waste soaps, skincare, and haircare made with care. Come shop small, discover something special, and make a day (or two!) of this unforgettable community celebration.
Mistletoe & Merlot: The Harbour’s Holiday Boutique
Join us on Thursday, November 5th, 2026, for an evening of holiday shopping paired with wine, hors d’oeuvres, and festive fun. This event is free to attend and open to the public, making it the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
Simply Soap by Dr. Soaper is thrilled to return for our third year at this beloved event, bringing our handcrafted, small-batch soaps and body care—perfect for gifting or a little seasonal self-care.

The Hickory Christmas Show
This with be the 4th year, for the Hickory Christmas Show which will be returning to the Hickory Metro Convention Center from December 4–6, 2026 right at the height of the Christmas shopping season. This popular indoor holiday event attracts an estimated 12,000–15,000 shoppers eager to find meaningful, one-of-a-kind gifts.
The show features a curated mix of handmade goods, specialty foods, and local boutiques, alongside vendors offering unique products not found in big-box stores. From artisan-made items to distinctive apparel and specialty gifts, the Hickory Christmas Show offers a festive shopping experience that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and small businesses.
Dr. Soaper is excited to return for her 3rd year as a vendor, sharing handcrafted soap, skincare, and giftable favorites with holiday shoppers and continuing to support this beloved local Christmas tradition in Hickory, North Carolina.
