A cold-process goat milk soap made with the same signature oil blend as our other Signature Soaps: olive, coconut, palm, almond, and castor oils, plus goat milk for a creamy, moisturizing lather.
This bar is scented two ways in one: half poured with almond fragrance, half with vanilla, then swirled together by hand for a two-toned brown and tan bar. Because each bar is swirled individually, no two look exactly alike.
A note on color: soaps made with vanilla fragrance oil naturally darken with time. The vanilla side of the swirl will deepen from tan toward a richer brown as the bar cures and ages. This is a normal, expected characteristic of vanilla-scented soap, not a flaw.
Why "Heal the Soul"? Every soap in our Signature line borrows its name from medical language, a small nod to Dr. Soaper's background as a physician. It's a naming tradition for the collection, not a claim: this bar is a well-made, gently scented goat milk soap, nothing more.

Powdered goat milk, for a consistent bar. Fresh milk scorches when it meets the lye. All the creamy fatty acids, sugars, and proteins stay in the finished bar; only vitamins are lost in saponification, and that is true of every goat milk soap on the market.
Store it on a dish that lets water drain away. A bar that sits in a puddle dissolves fast.
Yes, most people can. If your face is very reactive, stick with an unscented bar or the Clay Seed and Tree Facial Cleanse.

I will be purchasing the almond vanilla soap again. My skin is not as dry since I have been using the soap. It is also easy to wash out of the wash cloth, not like regular soaps that are hard to rinse out after using them. Very good product.

I am one of those people who can't stand strong fragrances like scented candles or perfumes and air fresheners. So I hesitate to buy scented soaps, but I found the Oatmeal and Honey Goat Milk soap to have a very mild and pleasing scent. So for those of you who have scent sensitivity - this one is for you!
