Why powdered goat milk? A note from the soap maker: we use powdered goat milk, not fresh, and it's a deliberate choice. Fresh milk scorches easily when it hits the lye, but powdered gives us a consistent, reliable source and a smoother batch every time. All the fatty acids, milk sugars, and proteins that make goat milk soap creamy and bubbly are still there. (The vitamins don't survive saponification either way, that's just soap chemistry.)
GREAT FOR - A spa like aromatherapy effect - Calming and enjoyed by men and women - Relaxing in the shower or tub - Gifting, as part of the Signature Soap Collection
ABOUT THE COLLECTION - Every bar in the Signature Soap Collection is named after a phrase you might hear in a doctor's office, a small nod to Dr. Soaper's background as a physician. This one is called "Breathe Deeply" which is appropriate, whenever lavender is in the air.

Powdered goat milk, for a consistent bar batch to batch. Powdered milk avoids the scorching that happens when fresh milk hits the lye, and the finished bar still has the fatty acids, sugars, and proteins that make goat milk soap so creamy.

I am one of those people who can't stand strong fragrances like scented candles or perfumes and air fresheners. So I hesitate to buy scented soaps, but I found the Oatmeal and Honey Goat Milk soap to have a very mild and pleasing scent. So for those of you who have scent sensitivity - this one is for you!
