Milder and more everyday than our facial bars, this is the rinse-off gel wash built for twice-daily use as Step 1 of the routine, rather than an occasional deeper cleanse. Physician-formulated, handmade in small batches, and the first step of a simple, honest routine.

  • What's it for? A gentle daily cleanser that lifts dirt, oil, and light makeup while smoothing texture, without stripping skin. Step 1 of the 3-Step routine.
  • Suitable for: All skin types, morning and evening.
  • Texture and scent: Light, sudsy gel that rinses clean with no tight or squeaky finish; bright scent with a hint of lime essential oil.
  • Key ingredients:
    • Willow bark extract – a traditional plant source of salicin, gently exfoliates and helps keep pores clear
    • Papaya enzyme (papain) – dissolves surface dead skin for a smoother feel without physical scrubbing
    • Aloe & silk protein – soothe and leave skin feeling soft, not tight
    • Allantoin & panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) – calm and support the skin barrier
  • How to use: Massage a small amount into damp skin morning and evening, rinse with lukewarm water, follow with Step 2 (Serum) and Step 3 (Moisturizer).

  • Yes. The formula is fragranced lightly with natural lime essential oil. There are no sulfates, parabens, or synthetic fragrance. If you know you react to citrus essential oils, patch test first.
  • Willow bark is a plant source of the same active family used in many acne washes, so it can help with mild congestion and clogged pores. It is not a substitute for a prescription treatment if you have moderate to severe acne.
  • Wet your face, dispense a small amount into wet hands, work into a light lather, and massage over your skin for about 20 seconds. Rinse with lukewarm water and follow with Step 2 Facial Serum and Step 3 Moisturizer.
  • Strictly for the eco-conscious reasons. Glass is endlessly recyclable, refillable, and does not add another plastic bottle to the waste stream. The travel size is glass too.
  • Yes. It is gentle enough for twice a day. If your skin runs on the dry side, once a day at night is plenty and you can rinse with plain water in the morning.
